hot heatJuly was the hottest month in recorded history according to data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The average global temperature was 1.46 degrees Farenheit above the average in the 20th century.

The organization has been recording since 1880 and July’s average temperature of 61.86 degrees Fahrenheit was the highest ever recorded. Read more at the National Climactic Data Center.
