The IDF announces that air and ground forces are currently attacking the Gaza Strip.

The army gives no further information, saying details will follow.

Earlier today, a senior diplomatic source quoted by Channel 12 news says Israel is considering a ground operation in Gaza in response to the continued heavy rocket fire from the Strip.

The unnamed source says the option has been discussed by the security cabinet at the military’s request and that all options are being weighed.

According to the network, over 200 rockets have been launched today by Palestinian terrorists, and a total of more than 1,600 have been launched since the start of the confrontation on Monday.

  1. If the Israelis can figure out all three of solemaini’s cellphones and track them, can’t they pinpoint the exact location where rockets are shooting from and carpet bomb the whole area???

  2. Ground means tanks and targeting from land as opposed to aircraft and ships. They didn’t enter or cross the border by foot.

  3. It’s a joke. They can stop all rockets without losing one soldier. Just stop supplying Gaza with water, food, fuel, building supplies, electricity.
    Stop all riots.
Just make every Arab arrested lose their welfare and medical support for them and their families.
Of course this is all happening because June 3 there is a scheduled gay parade in Yerushalayim. Shame. If the violence continues this parade hopefully will be cancelled.
