A blaze broke out this morning, at about 9:15 a.m. at 770 Eastern Parkway, Chabad Lubavitch’s World Headquarters.
The fire, said to be electrical in nature, was sourced in the basement of the building and was addressed by personnel from the FDNY, who turned off power to portions of the structure and evacuated the building.
There are no reported injuries. The full extent of the damage rendered by the conflagration is not yet know.
