justice departmentThe Justice Department sent out new policies Wednesday which will focus on prosecuting individual employees at corporations that commit white collar crime. The rules were sent out in a memo to federal prosecutors throughout the country pressuring corporations to turn in evidence that could implicate their individual employees in cases of wrongdoing.

It’s the first major step of new Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch and addresses criticism that few executives have been punished for the housing crisis and various financial scandals. Read more at The New York Times.
