Sarah Sperling, the kallah who was hurt in the Bus 402 crash a month and a half ago, was released this morning from Asaf Harofeh Medical Center, in a development called a “big miracle” by doctors and family members.

The 20-year-old resident of Neve Yaakov, Yerushalayim, was severely injured in the crash that claimed the lives of six people.

Sarah has experienced improvement in her condition and will undergo further rehabilitation.

She was wheeled out of Asaf Harofeh in a wheelchair, but she is now able to move the leg and arm there were severely injured in the crash.

“The rehabilitation period will be long and arduous, but we have no doubt that we will ultimately see success,” said her family. “Only six weeks ago, she was in critical condition, with life-threatening injuries, and today she is leaving the hospital. It is a great miracle.”

Relatives say that “Sarah has willpower, determination and perseverance. The hope is that she will be able to stand up and walk. It will take time, but eventually it will happen, with Hashem’s help.”

Sarah, a daughter of Rabbi and Mrs. Avrohom Yitzchok (pictured above) and Dina Sperling, is engaged to Yaakov (Kobi) Kastelenitz, a talmid of Yeshiva Kol Torah in Yerushalayim.

The family says that her progress thus far is clearly due to the tefillos of Jews across the globe, and so they ask that everyone continue davening for Sarah bas Dinah.
