Kavanaugh Supporters Drink Beer To Celebrate His Confirmation

Supporters of Brett Kavanaugh are drinking beer to celebrate his confirmation to the Supreme Court.

Shortly after the Senate confirmed President Trump’s embattled Supreme Court nominee, Kavanaugh supporters took to Twitter to share photos of themselves toasting the judge with a beer.

The “Beers for Brett” hashtag appears to be a reference to Kavanaugh’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, during which he repeatedly stated his fondness for beer.

“Yes, we drank beer,” Kavanaugh said during his testimony. “My friends and I, the boys and girls. Yes, we drank beer. I liked beer. I still like beer. We drank beer.”

“We drank beer and I said sometimes — sometimes — probably had too many beers and sometimes other people had too many beers. We drink beer. We liked beer,” he later added.
