After an extraordinary journey that inspired tens of thousands across North America, Keren Olam HaTorah is now setting its sights on the United Kingdom, Matzav.com has learned. Following a historic campaign that united kehillos throughout the United States and Canada in support of the Torah world in Eretz Yisroel, the next leg of this global initiative will bring a delegation of Gedolei Yisroel to London for two impactful days of events.
Scheduled for 11–12 Elul (September 14–15), the London leg will feature gatherings in both Golders Green and Stamford Hill. Precise venues and times will be released in the coming days, but anticipation is already building across the UK Torah community.
A group of gedolim is expected to accompany the mission to London, including Harav Dov Landau, Rosh Yeshivas Slabodka; Harav Moshe Hillel Hirsch, Rosh Yeshivas Slabodka; Harav Don Segal; Harav Shimon Galei; the Rachmastrivker Rebbe; Harav Yaakov Hillel, Rosh Yeshivat Ahavat Shalom; and Harav Dovid Cohen, Rosh Yeshivas Chevron.
The London campaign follows a sweeping U.S. tour that saw Gedolei Yisroel visit Baltimore, Chicago, Lakewood, Brooklyn, Monsey, Passaic, Deal, Toronto, and the Five Towns. At each stop, the message was clear: the yeshivos and kollelim of Eretz Yisroel—many of them struggling with unprecedented financial pressure—are a shared responsibility of Klal Yisroel.
So far, nearly $85 million has been raised from more than 5,000 donors, as part of the campaign’s ambitious $132 million goal. The funds will directly support thousands of lomdei Torah and their families across Eretz Yisroel, ensuring the continued flourishing of Torah despite difficult economic realities.
