john-kerryIsraeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu spoke with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry over the weekend about the kidnapping of the three Israeli teens, saying it is “a result of allowing a murderous terrorist group to join the Palestinian government.”

The situation in Palestinian territories has become “destructive” since the reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas, Netanyahu told Kerry.

Kerry spoke with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Friday and expressed his concern for the well-being of the three kidnapped teens.

When asked about the U.S. stance on the three kidnapped teens, one of which is believed to be a U.S. citizen, U.S. State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf on Friday told reporters the White House is “very concerned for their well-being.”

“We are working with the Government of Israel and with the Palestinian Authority to try to ensure the situation is resolved quickly, and that the three teenagers are safely reunited with their families. I can’t confirm citizenship at this point,” she said.

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni met with Kerry over the weekend in London and requested the U.S. assistance in finding the kidnapped teens.

  1. Obama was too busy playing golf this weekend to comment.

I only remember that if Obama had a son, he would be like Trayvon Martin. THAT, he would comment about!
