john-kerrySecretary of State John Kerry said today that Washington is evaluating whether to continue its role in Middle East peace talks, signaling his patience with the Israelis and Palestinians was running out. Speaking during a visit to Morocco after a week of setbacks, Kerry said there was a limit to U.S. efforts if the parties themselves were unwilling to move forward.

“This is not an open-ended effort, it never has been. It is reality check time, and we intend to evaluate precisely what the next steps will be,” Kerry said, adding he would return to Washington on Friday to consult with the Obama administration.

  1. It’s about time they woke up and realized: THERE WILL BE NO PEACE WITH THE PALESTINIANS! Not until moshiach comes. Baruch Hashem we at least have a prime minister that doesn’t totally cave in to American pressure, because doing so would lead chalila to a catastrophe that will unfold first after this administration is out of power and won’t be held responsible for in the eyes of the world.
…v’ein lanu l’heshoein ella al avinu shebashamayim!

  2. When Barack Obama was campaigning to
    become President, he repeatedly made
public promises to NOT tell foreign
    countries what to do. Apparently,
that promise does not apply to Israel.

  3. Aw! Poor Kerry!! Beginning to see the reality! But what does Israel have to do with this failure? Just like Kerry couldn’t convince enough Americans when he ran for the big office that he was a serious individual so too he couldn’t convince enough middle easterners of his abilities. He really doesn’t get it! If he’s blaming Israel just proves it! All he wants is for Israel to free more killers for nothing, absolutely nothing, in return!!! It’s a lopsided playing field!

  4. wake up and smell the coffee kerry! lets be honest here did you ACTUALLY believe that you would be able to negotiate with the arbs!!
