Kibbutz Nir Oz: Tamir Adar Was Murdered By Hamas On October 7

This morning, Kibbutz Nir Oz made an announcement confirming the tragic death of Tamir Adar. He was a resident of the kibbutz and was initially presumed kidnapped during the Hamas attack on October 7.

Adar, 38, was a farmer and educator who lived in Nir Oz with his wife Hadas and their two children, aged seven and three.

Tamir’s grandmother, Yaffa Adar, was kidnapped on Oct. 7 in a widely circulated video, showing her being driven by terrorists in a golf cart. She was released on November 24 as part of a hostage deal after spending a month and a half in captivity.
