A Bnei Brak Jew made a great kiddush Hashem when he wrote to MK Yisroel Eichler, Chairman of the Public Complaints Committee, that his digital bus card had been mistakenly credited with a vast amount of cash he had never paid.
“We found 14,292.30 shekels on my family’s Rav Kav, but we do not know why this mistake happened or how much money we must return to the Dan [Bus Company] and how much money is ours,” he wrote. “…We don’t know who to ask about this. Therefore, we ask for your help in this important matter so that we can return it as soon as possible.”
The Complaints Committee kicked the problem over to the Communications Ministry.
