A bill passing through the Knesset aims to make cigarette packs as ugly as possible.
If it passes, cigarette packs will be uniform for all brands, script will be in small font and a warning of tobacco danger will cover two-thirds of the pack. All wording will be printed in a dark brown hue thought to be the ugliest color known.
MK Yehuda Glick, a promoter of the bill, noted that tobacco kills 8,000 people annually in Israel.
