The Israeli Defense Forces has made public the identities of two more soldiers who lost their lives in the Gaza conflict.
Sergeant major (res.) Kobi Dvash, age 41 and hailing from Tiveria, was killed on Thursday during a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Master sergeant (res.) Eyal Meir Berkowitz, age 28 and from Yerushalayim, was also killed on Thursday in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.
Furthermore, an officer from the Oketz Unit sustained serious injuries during a battle in the northern Gaza Strip and has been transported to a hospital for urgent treatment.
On Thursday, former IDF Chief of Staff and current Minister Gadi Eisenkot received the heart-wrenching news of his son’s demise in the conflict. Master sergeant (res.) Gal Meir Eisenkot, aged 25, fell in battle in Gaza, adding to the toll of casualties. Additionally, the IDF disclosed the passing of Sergeant Major (Res.) Jonathan David Deitch, age 34, from Charish, who was killed in southern Gaza.
