Kosher Deli In Passaic Burns Down

The Jewish community of Passaic lost a beloved eatery today when King of Delancey deli on Main Avenue was gutted by a four-alarm blaze, fire officials said.

Firefighters arrived at the building at 5:30 a.m. Later, the fire moved up through the walls to the second and third stories and the roof toward the back of the partially collapsed building.

  1. Someone’s parnassa has burned down. Surely there are more appropriate things to say about that than the first two comments.
