Kosher Delight, a 28-year old establishment on Broadway between 36th and 37th Street in Manattan, closed yesterday. This closing comes on the heels of two other recent closures/moves in the midtown area involving J2 Pizza and Clubhouse Cafe.
Kosher Delight had a long history in the neighborhood as the only place to buy a kosher burger late.
The restaurant recently faced an increase in local competition. Bravo Pizza next door has been doing strong business since going Kosher recently.

Bravo pizza has nothing to do with it.
kd was always full everytime I went.
just the costs of rent salaries and high price of food made it diffucult to come up with a profit
So first the BP store (last year) and now the Manhattan location.
What about Flatbush, are they still open?
Oy ah broch!
Oy , nebech. Now yidden won’t be able to fress like chazeirm anymore. Maybe the obesity level will decrease a little in the frum community
As of last night 11:00 PM they were still open in Flatbush

I’ll miss it. Convenient, not terrible prices, and I’ve been going there a few times a year as long as I can remember.
Eis Tzarah he LeYaakov! We have to have a teshuva gathering! How can we possibly go further?
