Former White House adviser Jared Kushner called the move by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to send migrants from the southern border to Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., in protest of Biden’s immigration policies “very troubling” even as he advocated for former President Trump’s stringent immigration platform, The Hill reports.
“I personally watch what’s happening, and it’s very hard to see at the southern border … We have to remember that these are human beings, they’re people, so seeing them being used as political pawns one way or the other is very troubling to me,” Kushner, who is also Trump’s son-in-law, on Fox News’s “Outnumbered.”
“They come into America, they don’t have papers, many of them are exploited … so it’s a very sad situation,” he said. “…Under President Trump, we had the lowest border crossings in history when he turned over the administration. The border was secure, it was very safe,” Kushner added.
Looks like he needs something to fight with his scvher’s main rival in the Republican party about.

DeSantis and those who support him are quite happy to weaponize the horrible regimes in places like Venezuela and Nicaragua for their own political benefit but when they have an opportunity to help those fleeing such regimes, they instead add to the oppression. DeSantis is effectively in the side of Maduro and Ortega.
They just walked 5000 miles through thick and thin. Giving them a bus ride or flight to go to a destination is a chessed.
Surrounding himself with advisers like these, no wonder Trump’s presidency was sabotaged all throughout his 4years. You may be a great guy, but if you can’t manage the human resources, you should not be running any organization. On the other hand, DeSantis talks little and does a lot. DeSantis 2024!
