Lakewood: $15,000 Worth of Jewelry Stolen in Coventry

lakewood-policeLakewood, NJ – Thieves escaped with $15,000 worth of jewelry from a home here Monday, police said.

Officers Jason Yahr and Rodney Youmans responded to a home on Governors Road at 1:45 p.m. to investigate a reported burglary, according to Detective Lt. Gregg Staffordsmith of the township police department.

The victims told police that sometime between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., someone entered their unoccupied home through a first-floor window, Staffordsmith said.
