A yungerman in Lakewood, NJ, was carjacked today in the area of Martin Luther King Drive on the south side of the town.
An African-American male approached the driver, who was sitting in his idle car, requesting a ride. When the driver demurred, the man attacked him, punching the driver repeatedly.
The driver, attempting to get away from the attacker, exited his vehicle, a silver Toyota Camry, at which point the perp moved in, jumped into the car, and, with keys in the ignition, drove off, leaving the driver dumbstruck.
Hatzolah arrived at the scene and treated the driver, while police were contacted and launched a search for the carjacker and the vehicle.
