Leader In Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Labels Trump Twitter Warning ‘Psychological Warfare’

A top commander in Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said on Monday that President Trump’s overnight Twitter warning to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani amounts to “psychological warfare.”

“America wants nothing less than (to) destroy Iran,” he continued. “Trump cannot do a (…) thing against Iran.”

Trump on Sunday night tweeted an all-caps message directed towards Rouhani.

“To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE,” Trump tweeted. “WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!”
