The new bais medrash of Bais Medrash Yabia Omer led by noted mashpiah and mekarev Rav Yigal Cohen boasts a stunning golden aron kodesh, similar to the famed golden aron kodesh of the Ponevezh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak, which was brought to Eretz Yisroel from Italy.
Replicas of the aron kodesh in Ponevezh exist in botei medrash around the world.
The new Bais Medrash Yabia Omer is located on Rechov Rav Uziel in Bnei Brak.
Yesterday, Rav Cohen returned from abroad and delivered his weekly shiur to his close followers, and the new aron kodesh was revealed for the first time.
Rav Cohen regularly delivers shiurim and shmuessen throughout the country attended by large audiences and broadcasted on social networks to Jews worldwide.

The only difference probably is that the ponavitch aron Hakodesh brought from Italy is REAL gold (gilded). All the other ones may be a gold color but highly doubtful that its gilded with REAL gold. (way way too expensive to do that).

Can you just imagine how many struggling Bnei Torah could of been supported with the money spent on that?!
Today would be a great day for moshiach to come and we can get back the real Aron Kodesh made of gold.
Can you imagine how many more Bnai Torah can be supported if they just used a square wooden box for the Aron hakodesh ?
