Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh says most leaders have “no ability to relate to the everyday problems” caused by the coronavirus pandemic and said people who have immunity from the policy shouldn’t be “making the policy.”

“We can’t sit here and let a bunch of people who will never be negatively impacted by this tell the rest of us what to do,” Limbaugh said Tuesday on his show, “The Rush Limbaugh Show.”

“With all due respect, the medical community, people, the doctors, [Dr. Anthony] Fauci and [Dr. Deborah] Birx, they may be brilliant at what they do, but they should not be the people telling us whether schools will open or not. It’s not their level or area of expertise.

  1. The same old anti-intellecutal rant from Rush. People forget he is an entertainer; not a serious, scholarly thinker. He says things to get and retain listeners. It’s all about $$. He is appealing to the lowest level. People should not take him seriously any more than they would take the Marx Brothers seriously.

    • It looks like you never listened to him, Even if you do listen you will not comprehend what he says because a left wing brain can’t comprehend common sense which is what Rush Limbaugh is all about.

  2. With all due respect, politicians, including medical politicians, should not tell the rest of us what to do medically. It’s none of their business if we wear a mask, smoke, enjoy fatty fried foods or don’t take medications.
