Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., on Sunday declared Democrats are “out of control” in Congress, and warned their progressive legislation is “reshaping America.”
In an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Graham pointed to legislation on coronavirus stimulus as a particularly vexing overreach.
“This is out of control, liberalism, and in this bill … most of the money is not spent this year,” he said of the newly passed COVID stimulus bill. “Ninety percent of it has nothing to do with COVID.”
According to Graham, the bill contains “over $300 million for the National Endowment for the Humanities … and $20 million for [Native American] studies. They may be good ideas but they have nothing to do with COVID.”

The problem isn’t with the Democratic establishment, per se.
Most of the DNC politicians are held hostage by the few nutty liberals, who call themselves “progressive”, are very vocal, and are rousing the fringes and the rabble, by promising them every inconceivable right and handout. In order to survive politically, the mainstream Democrats are quietly going along, silenced into submission by few uneducated, unqualified, yet very loud and idealistic fools. THAT is the scariest part of the new government.
When I noticed that my belly was getting bigger and out of control, and that I was starting to reshape my body with the mass amounts of money that I was spending on nosh, I realized I better cut out all that out of control spending, and start watching my waist line once and for all. So I understand what Lindsey Graham is saying.
