Opposition leader Tzipi Livni slammed the government following the ceasefire agreement, calling it “a colossal security failure on the part of the right-wing government and a mortal blow to our deterrent capability at the cost of a handful of dollars.”
“The choice is not between submission or occupation, but rather a stable and secure stance on both legs – both deterrence and a diplomatic move against Hamas is needed,” she said.
“Tonight it’s clear that the right has no solution to security, we have it, we put it on the table four years ago – now we have to implement it, the right has to be sober up against Bibi’s slogans.
