JTA reports that the Lufthansa airline is creating a senior management role – an “anti Semitism monitor” – dedicated to preventing discrimination and antisemitism two months after it threw over 100 frum Jews off a flight.

The company still claims that there is no evidence of institutional antisemitism behind that incident, which the company’s CEO called “categorically inappropriate,” and which attracted the attention of Deborah Lipstadt, the U.S. State Department’s special envoy for antisemitism, who said that she would be meeting with the head of the worldwide Lufthansa Group, as well as the head of the airline in North America, to discuss allegations of antisemitism against the airline.
