Macron: “We Will Strike” If Given Proof Of Chemical Attacks In Syria

France’s President Emmanuel Macron said on Tuesday that France would retaliate against the Syrian regime if he had proof that civilians were being attacked with chemical weapons, Reuters reports.

“On chemical weapons, I set a red line and I reaffirm that red line,” Macron said. “If we have proven evidence that chemical weapons proscribed in treaties are used, we will strike the place where they are made.” Read more at AXIOS.

A British General and a French General were discussing various aspects of war when the French General asked “Why do the British Generals wear red uniforms when leading a cavalry into battle?” The General replied “In case we get shot or stabbed we don’t want our troops to know that we are wounded. It may lower morale.” The British General asked his French counterpart “And why do your Generals wear Brown pants?” The Frenchman became embarrassed and just looked at the ground.
