Major Hod Shriebman Killed During Combat In Northern Gaza

The IDF confirmed on Thursday evening that Major Hod Shriebman, a 27-year-old from Tzofit and a company commander in the Multidimensional Unit (888), was killed in combat in the northern Gaza Strip.

Major Shriebman was involved in a fierce battle in the northern Gaza Strip, during which a fellow soldier from the Multidimensional Unit (888) was critically wounded.

In a separate incident, a tank commander from the 9th Battalion of the 401st Iron Tracks Brigade was gravely injured during fighting in the northern Gaza Strip. The soldiers were quickly evacuated to a hospital for treatment, and their families have been notified.

Earlier Thursday, the IDF reported that Captain (res.) Amit Levi, 35, from Shomria, who served as a Squad Commander in the 6551st Patrol Battalion of the 551st Brigade, was killed during combat in the central Gaza Strip.
