The Israel Prison Service is finalizing arrangements to carry out the release of security prisoners in accordance with decisions made by the political leadership and the framework of the hostage return agreement.
Under direct orders from the IPS commissioner, the Red Cross will not be involved in certain aspects of the escort process. This decision aims to ensure that strict security protocols are upheld and to prevent any public displays of jubilation on Israeli soil.
IPS Commissioner Kobi Yaakobi convened a meeting that included numerous representatives from various security agencies. The purpose of the meeting was to finalize the operational logistics for the release of security prisoners, which is being conducted as part of “Operation Way of the Land.”
Preparations are underway at the Ofir and Shikma detention facilities, which are set to process the prisoners scheduled for release. These preparations are aligned with the lists of individuals that will be provided to the IPS.
To avoid any celebratory incidents in Ashkelon or other areas within Israel, the commissioner issued specific instructions. Unlike previous agreements, the prisoners will not be transported by the Red Cross in civilian vehicles. Instead, the Nahshon and Massada Units, elite divisions within the IPS, will handle the transfer process to ensure maximum control and security.

to “Anonymous”. First of all, good point. Second, there are powerful decision makers in Israel who are making a lot of money off of wars. This info is not from me but from an ex IDF friend. I think releasing terrorists on such a large scale makes sence for the decision makers. (Of course their intensions have to be blanketed by “the benefit” of some hostages being released).
You were under the impression that war was paid for by taxes and all proceeds went to the military. Wars are a for-profit enterprise and many profiteers have made big money from war and from prohibitions.
