Police on Wednesday busted a Brooklyn man for hopping the curb and driving his dark-colored sedan on the sidewalk of 53rd Street in Borough Park as several young children were walking into Talmud Torah Imrei Chaim Viznitz on Feb. 20, police and law enforcement sources said.

The footage shows four children walking from the street onto the sidewalk, and coming within feet of the slow-moving sedan. The man then speeds off, despite an adult instructing him to stop, according to the video.

The driver, who lives less than a half mile away, was charged with several counts of reckless endangerment, reckless driving, failure to stop for a school bus, and driving a motor vehicle on the sidewalk, police said. He is due to appear in court on April 3.

    • Who says he’s “definitely wrong”? Were you in his circumstances? The way you judge others, that is how you will be judged.
