white-houseA man jumped the White House fence late on Wednesday, but Secret Service apprehended the intruder before he came close to the residence. “An individual jumped the north fence of the White House. He was immediately taken into custody by canine units and Uniformed Division officers,” said Secret Service spokesman Edwin Donovan. He also said no shots were fired.

A video posted on Fox News appears to show the jumper kicking a dog. Law enforcement said the jumper was sent to a hospital to be treated for dog bites.

Witnesses also said they heard the sound of dog barks and beleive it was a Secret Service dog.
