The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), including Israel Police and Shin Bet, launched a full-scale manhunt on Friday in attempt to catch the culprits who set off a bomb that murdered Rina Shnerb and injured her father and brother.
In an official statement released by the IDF, Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Aviv Kohavi said “We are in the midst of a pursuit being led by IDF, [Shin Bet] and Israeli Police forces and are coordinating a wide-ranging operational intelligence effort to locate the perpetrators of this grave and murderous attack.”
Referring to the victims of the attack, Kohavi said “I am in pain for the Shnerb family and for the murder of their daughter, Rina. I wish Eitan and Dvir a speedy recovery and am sending strength to the family on this difficult day.”
“I am confident in our ability to quickly locate the perpetrators and continue to provide a high quality security solution for civilians living in Judea and Samaria,” he added.
