Marco Rubio said last night that he has no plans to drop out of the presidential race in response to recent reports that the junior senator would drop out before next Tuesday’s Florida primary.

When Fox News’ Megyn Kelly asked the Republican presidential hopeful if he was preparing to drop out, the senator said, “No. I am not dropping out, I am fighting all the way through. We’re going to win Florida.”

Rubio called the reports “100 percent, categorically false.” Read more at The Hill.

  1. He is taking a huge risk. If he loses Florida, not only will his bid for the nomination be finished, but his political career will probably tank. And he most likely will not have another shot at this.

Please, Mr. Rubio, save yourself and do what you can to save the GOP from Trump and the country from having to choose between voting for a) a corrupt liar, or b) an opportunist businessman who has no principles or policy or c) choosing not to vote at all: Step down.

Strike an agreement with Cruz in which you will throw all your support behind him if he will take you as his running mate. Tell Kasich to do the same, in exchange for being placed in charge of the Federal Reserve or whichever position he feels he could best fill. And then the three of you fight to the end to defeat Trump.
