Bill Barr received strong criticism from conservative commentator Mark Levin, who described him as “repulsive” and dismissed his statement regarding the indictment against former President Donald Trump as “ignorant.” In a series of tweets, Levin expressed his discontent, highlighting Barr’s own conduct and questioning his handling of documents, including classified information, during his tenure as Attorney General.
Levin challenged Barr to reflect on his own actions before passing judgment, raising concerns about potential violations of the Espionage Act. He questioned whether Barr had read classified information during his commutes between the Department of Justice and his residence, and whether he had provided guidance to his staff on removing documents at the end of his terms. Levin also asked about the removal of unclassified government documents, including letters on official Attorney General stationery, and whether a record was kept of what was taken.
“Hey, Bill Barr, did you ever read classified information when you were driven back and forth from DOJ [Department of Justice] and your house? That’s a violation of the Espionage Act. When your papers were boxed up at the end of both tenures as AG, did you provide guidance to your staff on what could be removed? Was it in writing? Did you remove unclassified government documents when you departed, including letters on AG stationary? Did you keep a list of what you removed?”
Levin further accused Barr of being biased against Trump, suggesting that his views were influenced by his animosity towards the former president. He remarked on Barr’s frequent appearances on television, comparing them to those of Michael Avenatti, and criticized the lack of scrutiny Barr faced. “You’re appearing on TV more than Michael Avenatti did because of your hate for Trump, but nobody grills you.”
Moreover, Levin contended that the indictment against Trump was selective, pointing out that former Vice Presidents Joe Biden and Mike Pence, as well as Hillary Clinton, had allegedly violated the Espionage Act without facing criminal charges. According to Levin, the indictment seemed to target Trump while overlooking potential violations by other prominent figures.

Sorry Mark! Is that because repulsive comments belong to Trump and only he may say them at will? Only he may revert to kindergarten name calling? Hey, they say, you know, if ya live in a glass house don’t throw stones. To the Trumpet I say, if ya can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen. And remember, it was the Trupest inability to shut his vile mouth that cost him AND US, the 2020 election and the 2022 majority in both houses.
Barr was threatened with impeachment when he said ( it’s on tape ) that the rule changes in those states were open to fraud and coersion He then retracted and became a dishonest Trump hater.
