Mask-Maker Helps FBI Nab Deadly Burglar

ian-marierIan Marier, a Quebec man known for making the “most realistic masks in the world” helped the FBI catch a man wanted for string of robberies and murders in the Philadelphia area.

It turns out that Dion Jordan, the FBI’s suspect, was using Marier’s masks to look dramatically different. Jordan, a 35-year-old African American, transformed himself into a middle-age white man with a mask and $1,500 worth of customization from Marier’s company. When Marier saw a photo of Jordan committing one of the robberies, he contacted the FBI.

“We sell it to people who do pranks, jokes, high-end Halloween costumes. That’s basically our business, but right now unfortunately, something bad happened,” Marier said. Read more at CBC.
