Matzav.com underwent a major upgrade by switching to a new hosting provider early this morning.
“The new server is faster and easier to maintain,” says Tzvi Arnstein, president at Nextbracket, a leading web design & eCommerce firm. This will translate to a better experience for readers and lower overhead costs for Matzav.com, a real win-win.
Also noteworthy is that along with the server upgrade, Matzav.com now runs on the HTTPS protocol, which provides 256 bit SSL encryption for more secure browsing.
Matzav.com thanks Nextbracket for their 24-hour support, ensuring that Matzav.com can continue serving as the #1 relied-upon website for the global Torah community.

  1. Money wasted. Still too long for comments to be posted. Still clunky and cumbersome to return to previous location after leaving or reading comments. Still had a feel that Lakewood is Ir HaKodesh. Yech.

The question really is, why didn’t matzav do this before?

    • What do you need higher encryption and more secure browsing? No one is browsing the web through Matzav and should not be posting their private details or banking info. Anything sent and posted to the website gets posted anyway, even if its 10000 bit encryption.

  3. Ah, so will Bill de Blasio and every other politician pay for ads congratulating Matzav on the new format? 😉 #Puzzling

  4. Can you make sure all the various videos you post will be accessible to those of us with kosher filters on our phones? We don’t have any internet in our home.

    • I agree with this post. Quite a lot of the videos dont show.

Congratulations Matzav for a great, frum, newsworthy and non political site. Am also pleased with the SSL

  5. Mazel Tov to Matzav.com and Netbracket.io!! The upgrade should with ברכה והצלחה for everyone involved!

  6. Still cannot understand how you continue to post comments from anti Vaxxers. You must have some of them working on your website.

    • There is something called freedom of speech. There is a 1st amendment in our constitution. You don’t have to agree or like what your neighbor says, but we must continue to allow people to express their views. If you control what people say or think, where does it end? Who decides what’s allowed to be said and what’s not? Who in this world is not biased in one way or the other?
