Dear Matzav Inbox,
I’ll tell you something, I am absolutely bewildered. Here we are, at a time of unparalleled goodness, and yet Moshiach is still not here. Can someone please explain this to me? With all the incredible things going on—especially on WhatsApp—how could Hashem possibly delay the arrival of Moshiach any longer? I mean, just think about it for a second.
First off, we’ve got the all-important, life-changing campaigns of making sure no one parks in handicapped spots. The constant reminders on every group chat, the memes about it, the posts about it—it’s honestly hard to imagine anything more selfless and righteous. Every time someone posts a picture of a car in a handicapped spot, I feel like we’re one step closer to the geulah. And don’t even get me started on the countless messages warning us to watch for cars parking too close to the lines. Moshiach could be right there—if only we could fix those parking situations.
Then there’s the ongoing crusade to make sure nobody overpays for eggs at the local frum stores. The vigilance is remarkable! We’ve got people making calls, sending texts, checking receipts, and creating whole spreadsheets to track egg prices. All the hard work, the selfless efforts—it’s mamish inspiring. So many people going above and beyond to make sure the prices are just right. And who could forget the relentless pursuit of keeping the prices down on other essentials? We have all these WhatsApp messages like, “Can anyone tell me where the cheapest milk is?” This is what true geulah looks like, isn’t it? How could such incredible chesed not warrant the coming of Moshiach?
And of course, let’s not overlook the unrelenting flood of Rayze It campaigns. We can barely scroll through WhatsApp for 10 seconds without seeing yet another plea for funds for a new yeshiva, a new tzedakah, or another community initiative. Each campaign is more inspiring than the last—so many dedicated individuals giving of themselves to fundraise for the right cause. One wonders, with all the collective efforts of the frum world, is there anything left for Moshiach to do? It’s almost as if he could just show up and coast on all the good we’re doing.
But wait, it gets better. Let’s not forget the memes. Oh, the memes. Inspiring, heartwarming, thought-provoking memes—daily doses of inspiration that are practically guaranteeing the arrival of Moshiach any second now. Every post, every share, is a step closer. We are truly living in a time where memes are the currency of geulah. If these don’t bring Moshiach, then what will?
And here’s the cherry on top: Moshiach could literally park in a handicapped spot today and have no problem. Thanks to the tireless efforts of all the WhatsApp groups, those spots are now practically wide open. If that’s not a sign of readiness, I don’t know what is. All the preparation has been done. We’ve cleared the way. It’s practically like Moshiach’s parking space is reserved, and now he just needs to show up.
So, I ask again: Why is Moshiach not here? We have so much good happening—real, meaningful, impactful good. What more could Hashem want from us? We’ve got awareness, we’ve got kindness, we’ve got diligence, we’ve got memes—and we’ve got parking spots cleared. If this isn’t the time, then when will it be?
With all due respect, and in full sincerity, I really don’t understand.
Perplexed

as long as we follow Daas Torah and the askanim we cannot go wrong. I was at the aguda convention and the topics there were inspiring and I urge everyone to go next year to this convention.
Who needs what’s app try without it
If you reject the Rebbuh MH”M from Crown Heights, do you think your Whatsapp posts will help you???
The road to gehenom is paved with good intentions
I’m honestly disappointed that Matzav.com can post such a letter, spewing with hate. There are good things that Jews are doing, too. And this letter writer clearly never needed a handicapped spot. Good for you.
The letter is brilliant in bringing out a subtle point that couldn’t be made as effectively without the sarcasm and humor. And you know what…The writer is right. It’s called messed up priorities, like solving the handicapped spot crisis is a green light to write whatever you want carte blanch.
Brilliant.
What I’m wondering when I see all these letters by all these seemingly goody two-shoes, I’m wondering who’s paying them to write these letters and how much they’re being paid just to get people to talk. Unfortunately most of the talk ends up being a bunch of LH, so I’m not understanding what the point is. So if you want to know why Moshiach isn’t here, look at these stupid letters and what they do.
What a NUTCASE…
Sounds like you’re a depressed narcissistic troll
Okay Matzav,
Why is it that lately all you “Frum” websites have gone bonkers allowing nut-case “mail-in”questions?
Have you no screening process, weird!
Maybe the problem is you
Great letter! Spot on.
Theres only onequestionyou need to ask, …to yourself….why do I expose my self to all this if i don’t love it?
Sorry if you meant to be funny and sarcastic you missed the mark.
Yeh yeh. Bla bla. Yawn. Moshiach this and Moshiach that. Does every anonymous rant by a chuchum from the manishtana have to ask the $85 million dollar question, “and then we wonder why Moshiach is not here yet”. Such childish immature query.
Moshiach is not here yet because we honestly don’t want him here. We’ve got things to do and places to go, and we can’t have him come and mess things up. Moshiach can come AFTER Pesach. We’re going to an extravagant Pesach program on the beaches of Punta Cana. Moshiach waited this long, he can wait a little longer. Nothing’s going to happen. Life is good.
You said it best.
What is wrong with you? the whole point of Judaism is after live in olam haba and mashiach u r litterly doubting your on yiddishkeit
All the kind acts you mentioned are wonderful becauseneven the small mitzvos are just as essential as the big ones. However IMO to tip the scale for him to come Hashem is waiting for all yidden to come close to him which entails real teshuvah, ie, only placing ones emunah and trust in Him. Only Him and no one else. That means not putting trust in any man or leader including the likes of Trump and Bibi and ideologies such as Zionism. He is testing us. Any trust in the above examples mentioned only impedes the Geulah Shleimah.
we were only missing one thing – a sarcastic letter making fun of people the writer disagrees with. NOW, we’re there.
Moshiach is waiting until he can book MetLife Stadium. Then he can come and there can be a dias and field seats for all the shvitzers, askanim and mega-wealthy donors he will need to bring the Geulah.
Limaaseh, remember the golden rule: “the one with the gold rules”. There is a big disconnect. The rich and and famous think they can manipulate and abuse the worthless middle class peasants. They are above the law, and takanos. They are allowed to go where they want, when they want and do whatever the heck they please, with their smartphone hanging from their hip. No more was it ever apparent as during Covid. We will never forget the sanctimonious lectures we received from them.
There is absolutely no comparison between price chats and tzedakah campaigns! The latter is a mitzva, is essential to who we are as a people, and should certainly not be mocked. It should rather be put on a pedestal, and be for us a source of pride.
Is the point of the letter to mock people who try to do good and/or help others in small ways? If so, why?
He wants to remove his guilt for parking in a handicap spot .
He thinks this is not within within what the mishna in Peah says about feigning handicaps Lo Aleinu
I wonder who he/she asked
can i just comment on the handicap spots? there’s literally no crisis of people parking there. some places have a parking shortage but every single time the only spots open are handicap. I hardly ever see ANYONE parked in handicap spots. And maybe once ever have I seen a non-handicap car in a handicap spot.
The most important part of life is missed. There are many yungeliet that are working and they are not being paid by the Bal Habayis. Others are working hard for a number of years and when they ask for a menial raise or overtime they are denied and told go find a job if you don’t like your job. There needs to be eirluchkiet in paying workers. This is holding Moshiach back. Tzedaka is nice. Treating a woker with kavod is an obligation.
You’re 100 percent right!
mashiach stands on the roof of the beis hamikdash
mashiach hasnt come because we havent built the beis hamikdash
beis hamikdas III
THE TIME IS NOW
I haven’t a clue what the writer is talking about. I have WhatsApp and there is never a discussion re parking in handicap parking spaces. maybe because I don’t reside/drive in Lakewood? I never got any message or meme regarding egg prices. And if somebody would like for me to donate to their campaign page, they send me an email or text.
