McCain and Christie to campaign for Frum Ohio GOP Candidate, Josh Mandel

josh-mandel1Arizona Sen. John McCain and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie plan trips to Ohio today to campaign on behalf of state Treasurer Josh Mandel’s U.S. Senate race.

Mandel’s campaign is holding morning events in Columbus with McCain and events later in the afternoon in suburban Cleveland with Christie.

Mandel, a Republican, is seeking to defeat incumbent first-term Democrat Sherrod Brown.

Christie, a Republican, was encouraged by many to run for president, while McCain was the GOP presidential nominee in 2008.

Mandel, a 34 year old Marine, is an Iraq war veteran. In his spare time, he has a chavrusah at Telshe  Yeshiva in Cleveland. His wife is a graduate of the Hebrew Academy of Cleveland.

  1. I may actually be considering Mr. Mandel and I am a democrat. I am not sure I am completely in line with Sherrod Brown although his spirit is quite righteous in my eyes. That said, I think that Mr. Brown may be giving too much control to unions and in my own personal life, there are issues with Cigar and Smoking Rights.
    So maybe Josh Mandel it is. (oh, I apologize for the above post called “Go Browns” where I said no thanks. I say no thanks to the republican agenda, but lets see where this race goes. Mr. Brown needs to step up.
