There’s joy in the Olam HaTorah, as Rav Boruch Mordechai Ezrachi, a member of the Moeztes Gedolei Hatorah of Degel Hatorah and rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Ateres Yisroel, was released from the hospital after being anesthetized and respirated this past week following a serious infection.

As reported here on Matzav.com, after the Rosh Yeshiva weakened this past week, his condition deteriorated and he had breathing difficulties. He was rushed to the hospital on Monday afternoon with an infection and respiratory distress, and he had to be put on a respirator in the intensive care unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Yerushalayim.

His release has been called a “medical miracle” by some.

At the hospital, Chief Rabbi Rav Yitzchok Yosef visited him. At the end of the visit, Rav Yosef spoke with his doctors and told them: “The Torah world needs the Rosh Yeshiva. Thank you for your dedicated care. We owe you a great debt.”

Yesterday, in his room at the hospital, the Rosh Yeshiva received a copy of his new seferBirkas Mordechai’ on Maseches Nedarim and and recited Shehecheyanu.

All are asked to keep davening for Rav Boruch Mordechai ben Hinda Malka.
