Yesterday, just hours after two Jews were murdered and other were injured by a Palestinian terrorist in Tel Aviv, Meretz MK Gaby Lasky had the audacity to state that payments made by the Palestinian Authority to the families of terrorists are justified, as the terrorists’ children “are left without financial support” and that there is no need for collective punishments in these cases.
Her comments were made to Kan News.
“They need to be given a livelihood to stop the exploitation of children and women…and to stop them [the children] from going into terrorism. It’s difficult [for people] to hear that, but that’s the truth.
Now, Lasky has backtracked and apologized for her ridiculous and insulting comments.
“My statement was out of place and did not justify for a moment the crime of terrorism, and I apologize for it,” Lasky wrote on Twitter. “I completely condemn yesterday’s awful attack. I send my condolences to the families.”

This evil idiot is aware that she is essentially rewarding terror. To me, supporters of terror need to be excommunicated. I haven’t a care whether she goes to prison for her crime or becomes the next and only victim. After all, she cares so deeply for them at the expense of caring for fellow Jews.
Both sides have to tone down the inflammatory rhetoric. Israel should give away more strategic land.
