German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Thursday that Europe can no longer count on the United States to protect it, urging the continent to “take destiny into its own hands.”
“It is no longer such that the United States simply protects us, but Europe must take its destiny in its own hands. That’s the task of the future,” she said during a speech honoring French President Emmanuel Macron, according to Agence France-Presse.
Her sharp comments came days after President Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Iran nuclear deal, angering European allies who are parties to the 2015 pact.

Historically, the US saved European countries from other Europeans, and it’s about time that they took their destiny into their own hands. If, however, her words refer to Islamic invasion, it was Europe’s decision to surrender without a shot, and it should also be their own destiny to fight Muslims off.
She is 100% correct; it IS time for Europe to take their destiny into their own hands. How much money and manpower does the US have to spend to do Europe’s work? Let them do it themselves.
Europe should take protection from the Muslim refugees who should be their border guards and Markel’s personal body guards. She’ll surely feel very secure with them and so will Macaroni the President of France and May the PM of UK.
Great, we won’t have to spend billions of dollars or keep troops there, and Europe can enjoy being divided between a caliphate and the new USSR!

Does she really believe in what she is saying? She opened her borders to millions of immigrants which include leaches of society and criminals (which was due to the Arab spring that Obumya encouraged) and pulling out of deal with Iran is dangerous? If Iran is a dangerous regime, then don’t deal with them, hit them where it hurts!!!! What fool makes a deal with murderers?
