virusTwo more cases of the deadly new virus MERS have been identified by the World Health Organization, both in Italy.

The victims, a 2-year-old girl and 42-year-old woman, allegedly caught the virus after coming in contact with another Italian who was diagnosed on May 28. All three are currently in stable condition.

Symptoms of the virus – which has caused more than two dozen deaths – include fever, coughing, and progressive respiratory distress.

The director of the World Health Organization called it a “threat to the entire world” last week. The origin of the virus remains unclear. Read more at CNN.
