US tech giant Microsoft has acquired Israeli cybersecurity start-up CyberX, to enhance protection of its Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, the companies announced Monday.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but media reports have estimated the deal is worth approximately $165 million.
CyberX was founded in 2013 by CEO Omer Schneider and CTO Nir Giller, both veterans of the Israeli Elite Cyber Security Unit.
