In an exclusive interview with The NY Post, former Vice President Mike Pence, who recently entered the crowded 2024 GOP presidential primary race, shared his candid opinions on various subjects. When asked about different figures in the news, Pence didn’t shy away from expressing his views. He referred to Donald Trump as “his friend,” labeled President Biden a “disaster,” and described Democratic mega-donor George Soros as a “puppet master.”
Pence’s responses varied in speed. Some elicited swift replies, such as his disapproval of Bud Light, which he stated, “Not anymore.”
Other topics took longer for him to answer, such as when Hunter Biden was mentioned. After contemplating for nearly a minute, Pence finally stated, “Time to answer questions.”
Navigating his role as a loyal former vice president while distinguishing himself from Donald Trump, Pence expressed pride in the Trump administration’s record. However, he also acknowledged that his loyalty to the Constitution compelled him to act differently, referring to his refusal to participate in overturning Trump’s 2020 election defeat.
Regarding the classified documents found at his own home, which led to no charges against him, Pence promptly pointed out that he fully cooperated with authorities and took responsibility for the innocent mistake. While he welcomed the conclusion that it was an error, Pence made it clear that he viewed the protection of classified materials as a serious matter.
In his criticism of the Department of Justice and the FBI, Pence stressed the diminishing confidence of the American people. He pledged to “clean house” by removing top officials, including FBI Director Christopher Wray, whom he vowed to fire if he became president.
Highlighting points of contrast with Trump and other Republicans, Pence expressed concerns about their stance on Ukraine, particularly in light of the ongoing conflict in Eastern Europe. He argued that his former running mate and some of his primary competitors would diminish America’s role as the leader of the free world and the “arsenal of democracy.”
Pence also addressed the economy, admitting that the Trump-Pence administration fell short in controlling spending. He acknowledged the significant national debt, which currently matches the size of the nation’s economy. In contrast, Pence highlighted a recent bipartisan deal negotiated by President Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, which imposed spending caps.
Reiterating his pro-life stance, Pence pledged his support for federal abortion bans and indicated openness to even stricter limitations, citing a proposed ban introduced by Senator Lindsey Graham. He also emphasized his commitment to his pro-life credentials.
When discussing the coronavirus pandemic, Pence defended his administration’s efforts and declined to answer whether Trump should have fired Dr. Anthony Fauci, as suggested by Governor Ron DeSantis. Pence expressed regret over the way Fauci became a symbol for excessive government control by Democrat governors and mayors, believing it to be a lesson to be learned. Nonetheless, he expressed pride in what the American people achieved during the challenging time of the worst pandemic in a century.

Good man. Pence Scott 2024. Let’s do it.
If the White Hats need an actor to keep the calm until the swamp is drained, why get an actor who’d replace Pence (who was cv’d many years ago) when the Biden players are doing fantastic jobs. Besides, it’s better to get a Democrat player because the Left are the troublemakers.
Will Pence disavow his own masters in the corrupt GOP establishment? His main purpose in running for VP was to keep Trump in check once in office. Getting rid of Gen. Flynn was only one instance.
Mike Pence is gone for good for his crimes.
Don’t say that. Mike is an upstanding man. If you have information to the contrary, share it with us.
It was shared here by commenters many times but you’re too lazy to research it. Had he been an upstanding man, he’d been Trump’s VP full term.
He could make whatever promises he wants it will get him maybe an extra 100 votes.
