Mayoral candidate Kathryn Garcia says she supports pay equity, but during her six years as city sanitation commissioner, she presided over a two-tier system that funneled women and minorities into lower-wage enforcement jobs while white, male counterparts did similar work for higher pay and better benefits, a federal discrimination complaint charges.
“She has a good campaign going, but in the department when she was working with Sanitation, she didn’t help with women or help with equal work or equal pay,” Dameka Dowdy told The Post.
“She was in a position to bring it to light, and she did nothing.”

Why is anyone even surprised? The rule is that whatever a leftist screams about, it’s the complete opposite.

The NY Post brought this out, because it supports Adams and slants all its coverage in his favor. That was going well until the NY Times and Daily News endorsed Garcia, and she took a lead in the polls. So now the Post has to dig up some dirt on her to try to knock her down. The same thing happened to Yang when he had the lead, and then to Springer.
It’s all phony. Vote for the person you think will make the best (or least bad) mayor. I can’t vote, even though I live in NYC, because I’m a Republican.
