Dovid Amar, a resident of the city of Elad, miraculously survived the horrific massacre that took place tonight in which three residents were murdered with brutal ax blows by Palestinian terrorists.
Dovid related: “Two terrorists were holding axes. We were in the middle eating cholent inside my car, and the terrorists came from all sides toward the vehicle. My friend who was with me threw his bowl of cholent at one of the terrorists. The food was hot and the terrorist was burned, so he backed off. I just grabbed the ax and managed to push him, and he fell three steps back. Then the second terrorist again tried to hit my friend, but my friend pushed him away and they left us.”
Dovid says: “We wanted to eat in the park, but there seemed to be a lot of children there, so we told each other that we would eat in the car. We’re bleeding because of the glass of the car that broke, but boruch Hashem we were saved. The terrorists saw that we were fighting back so they went to look for other victims.”

This is not a light, funny story. This is a story of tremendous hashgacha pratis, that these two people faced death, and through exact hashgacha, did not end up as one of the niftarim.
If not for this story, we may have been mourning two more wives without husbands, and two more families of children missing their husband and father!
