Israeli Minister of Culture Chili Tropper arrived today at the Kleinerman home in Modi’in Illit, becoming the first government representative to visit the family since their son, Moishy, went missing 135 days ago.

The minister heard from Moishy’s mother and father, who asked him to make an effort to influence Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid to act on their behalf.

After the meeting, Mrs. Gitty Kleinerman said, “Thank you very much, Honorable Minister. This is the first time that a minister has come to our house after 135 days of searching for Moishy. I am personally grateful that you cleared your busy agenda to devote yourself to the problems of the common citizen.”

She added, “I hope that the government will exercise its influence, and you will exercise your influence on Defense Minister Gantz and Prime Minister Lapid, and we all pray that Moishy will return to us soon.”

“In another month,” she said, “our son Shlomo will celebrate his bar mitzvah, and he wants to celebrate it with his beloved brother Moishy. I ask that you do everything to find him.”

The minister replied, “I came first to listen and make it clear to you that you are not alone in this campaign. I will do everything I can to recruit more and more people to look for Moishy.”

“What broke my heart,” added Minister Tropper, “is to know that for 19 Shabbatot, you prepare a plate for him and prepare a chair for him in the hope that he will appear at your door. I wish you strength and I will try to help as much as I can.”

As of this writing, all the suspects who have been arrested in relation to this case have been released. Investigators, according to reports, currently have no substantial leads.

  1. Possibly he took a tramp with a terrorist yemach shmo. They should work on that. Or posibbly he was offered a free ticket to europe for taking a suitcase on his name and the suitcase contained drugs so he was thrown into some prison. They should work on that.
