Avidgor Liberman’s Yisrael Beytenu party on Wednesday rejected claims that it is responsible for the ongoing political crisis and accused charedi lawmakers of blocking the establishment of a Likud-led government.

With just hours to go before the Wednesday night deadline for forming a new government, Yisrael Beytenu MK Oded Forer blasted the Shas and Yahadut HaTorah, blaming them for the stalled coalition talks which could force Israel to new elections just months after the 21st Knesset was voted in.

“Let it be clear, the ones who are blocking the formation of a government are the charedi parties who insist on sticking their finger in the eyes of the public that serves in the army and does reserve duty,” said Forer on Wednesday.

  1. Seems I can’t find a clear story anywhere. Other sites state explicitly that the Hareidi parties have agreed to Netanyahu’s compromise (and the Hareidi parties that agreed are even now being barraged by extremists protetors because of it!) so just how does that make it their fault?

    • Sadly, you’re right. Chareidi parties agreed. They’d sell the entire Torah for a few bucks which is what the “extremists” are protesting about. Secular Lieberman “would not give up on [his anti-Torah] principles” while chareidim have no problem comprising on ikur Torah principles; Shabbos and Giyus, for money!!!! Can anyone still deny that “the extremists” (as you call them, or as “the G-d fearing ones” as they’re known) Peleg and Satmar – the only chareidim holding on to their principles – are right?

  2. Why should chareidi Yeshiva boys who are protecting Israel by learning Torah be drafted to the army when 50% of secular parasites can wiggle their way out of when doing nothing? CHAREIDIM should STAND STRONG with their principles and not give in to Lieberman, religious Jews hater?
