Tzipi Hotovely, member of the Knesset for the Likud and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, has given birth to her second child, a girl.
The baby was born on Motzoei Yom Tov at the Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Rishon L’Tzion, weighing in at 3.075 kg.
Hotovely’s older child is a girl named Maayan.
Hotovely’s husband is Ohr Alon, an attorney, who she married three years ago. Hotovely is 38; and Alon is 34.
Hotovely, a religious Jew, was born in Israel to a Georgian Jewish family. She grew up in Rechovot and studied at a Bnai Akiva girls’ school in Tel Aviv and served for two years in the National Service.
Alon grew up in Kochav Yair in western Shomron and was a member of Bnei Akiva.
