netureiMembers of the Neturei Karta attacked Knesset Member Yaakov Katz of National Union last week when he arrived at a Meah Shearim shul in Yerushalayim.  The MK responded with slurs and is now planning to submit a bill which would classify Neturei Karta as terrorists.

The incident began when a number of Neturei Karta members gathered around Katz as he entered a shul in Mea Shearim and demanded that he leave the premises.

Older members then advised Katz to leave. Katz responded by calling his opposers “Nazis” and “terrorists.”

The MK is now promoting a bill aiming to classify members of the Sikrikim group of the Neturei Karta faction as members of a terrorist organization for their activities against state institutions.

“We are separating the vast charedi public, Eida Hachareidis and various chassidic movements from members of this group which is a fringe phenomenon,” MK Katz said.

Sources in his offices said that he has already secured the support of Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin and various charedi MKs.

“We are currently collecting materials and photos of the group members and have received the support of Eida Hachareidis  elements. The materials are being transferred to the Shin Bet and the police as part of bill’s prep work,” a source in Katz’s office said.

“Katz himself was born in Mea Shearim and intends on visiting the site accompanied by a large group of people to prove that Jews cannot be expelled from shuls in Israel,” he added.

  1. I don’t know if these NK guys have anything to do with the guys whgo visit terrorists but if they do then I’m sure they’ll be glad to be grouped with them.

  2. These guys are worse then terrorists. They should lock them up and throw away the keys. What a horrible site to watch them hug that rasha ym”s from Iran (and Arafat)

  3. Finally someone was ready to stand up and accuse them of who they really are. They can not decide where to stand with klal yisroel or not.

  4. There is a silver lining to this story. The fact that a Nationalist Religious Zionist and a Neturei Karta member were even close in proximity to each other in the Holy City is a good thing. The various philosophical points of difference between all the Jewish sects can be resolved in a peaceful manner. A wise counsellor is required. Prophetic times, nu ?Intransigence always comes before a fall…

  5. i dont know why thy are called neturei karta they should be called MACHREVEI karta all they do is distructing eretz yisroel and bringing in more sinas yisroel to the whole world just in case we arent hated enough they should be called HAMAS thats there real name.
