Teveriah mayor Ron Kobi announced the introduction of public transportation on Shabbos, saying thousands have complained of being unable to reach the town’s lakeside promenade on Shabbos. Tourism spots were also to remain open on the holy day, he said.

The chillul Shabbos will be a collaborative effort between the city and the Noa Tanua group, which has already organized Shabbos buses for 9,000 members in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Givatayim and Be’er Sheva.

Shama Cohen, mayor of Ramat Gan, also announced plans to arrange public transportation on Shabbos to fun spots in Tel Aviv and to the beach.

  1. When using heat treatment, bed bugs get all active and excited right before they start dieing. Chilonim get all active and aggressive right before loosing the demographic war. Yes, I am suggesting that judenrat-elites chilonim are blood-sucking bed bugs whose power-days are numbered.
