Mother Of IDF Fallen Soldier Has ‘New Hope’ For Retrieving Son’s Remains


Leah Goldin, the mother of fallen Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldier Hadar Goldin, told i24NEWS that for the first time in a long time she has renewed hope for future progress in retrieving the remains of her son from the Gaza Strip.

Her optimism was sparked by the announcement of Interim defense minister Naftali Bennett on Wednesday that there would be a policy change which would place an embargo on the “release of terrorist bodies.”

During discussions with the veteran leader, they were able to come up with an initiative that would help secure the remains of her son, which was “very encouraging” to hear, Leah told reporters.
